Interactive door control unit, for control and monitoring of fire doors. With SelfVerify.

The door control unit BN-320/2 is used for the control and monitoring of fire doors. It is connected directly to the detection loop. The unit has 2 monitored inputs monitoring the door’s position (open/closed), plus 1 output with a potential free changeover contact controlling the power to a door magnet. The door magnet must be powered from an external 24V DC power supply.

An open circuit (loss of 2k on the inputs) gives a fault warning. The unit has a built-in short-circuit isolator. In the event of a short-circuit, the short-circuit location will be isolated.

The SelfVerify function ensures the highest grade of reliability and reduces the need for manual testing because all units comprising this function are automatically checked once every 24 hours.
